01Who can join Talent Creek?
Talent Creek is an open platform specifically created for freelance actors and performers.

02Can I still join if I’ve got an agent?
You can still join but we can only accept you if you are registered with one of our contracted partners. This means that you will need to contact your agent and ask them to join Talent Creek.

03What do I need in order to register?
Please complete the application form as precisely as possible. We will also need photos and it is also great if you can send us your showreel, your CV and an IMDB link.

04What kind of work can I expect?
Banner Casting provides actors for both feature films and commercials but it is important to note that we do not work with events or catwalk shows.

05Do I have to be an EU citizen in order to join?
No, we are more than happy to welcome actors and performers from all over the world.

06If I’m not an EU citizen, what kind of work permit will I require?
We can only tell you this once you have applied. If you are accepted for a project, we will consult our legal staff and inform you accordingly.

07How do I find out about work?
If you are a registered member and you fit the brief for a project, you will be contacted by one of the team at Banner Casting and asked if you are free to take part.

08How will I be presented to clients and directors?
Our casting directors will decide whether to put you forward for a particular project but will always agree this with you beforehand. Then, if you agree, we will present your photos and showreel.

09Do I have to come into the Budapest offices for casting?
This won’t be necessary as all casting of foreign actors, commercial talents and models is carried out on an internet platform.

10What countries are shoots typically based in?
More often than not, we are looking for actors to appear in local and international feature films and commercials shot in Hungary but that does not exclude a scenario where an actor may be required to travel out of Hungary with a crew or individually for a shoot based outside Hungary.

11If I have to travel to a shoot, who will pay...

...for my travel and accommodation? We will organise and pay for all travel and accommodation with one of our contracted partners.

12How will I be contract for work?
You will receive your contract at least 7 days before shooting commences and this will contain all details of your shooting schedule, travel schedule, buyout options and credits.

13Can I seek legal advice on my contract?
Of course, and we would openly encourage you to do so. The legal staff at Banner Casting are happy to respond to any questions your legal advisor may have.

14How long after a shoot can I expect to get paid?
Film projects typically pay 30-40 days after shooting and the same is true of commercial films, however, it is important to note that buyouts are only payable if the end client buys and broadcasts the commercial as originally intended.
